A dance through vertical space.
The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair, London, is a striking new luxury hotel set within the meticulously restored former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square.
Our bespoke lighting centrepieces in the entrance and lobby help articulate the architectural rhythm of the space, bridging soaring volumes with sculpted seating zones and artwork selected by leading curators. Inspired by the carefully controlled airflow with the hotel, the compositions follow swooping curves that lead the eye upwards.
Throughout the double-height public spaces and central atrium, sculptural lights punctuate the design narrative — their forms playing with shadow and reflection against natural stone, walnut paneling, and metal accents, creating a dynamic, atmospheric glow that complements the daylight flooding in from the extensive glazing.
The hotel’s art and lighting together enhance circulation, invite exploration, and celebrate both the building’s storied past and its bold reinvention as a cultural and design icon in London’s luxury hospitality scene.
