A textural journey illuminating human creativity

A perfect 20m diameter circular sculpture of illuminated patinas and textures suspended above the famous Selfridges Wonder Room, each fine brass panel explores the audacious talent and ingenuity humans have for converting raw materials into objects of desire.

As light reflects across each panel it plays with the incredible photo-etched detail and hand-applied patinas to discover a journey of tectonic pressures and chemical transformations, of mining and refining processes, of incredible precision and inspired invention.
