Disco Disco

Information

Disco Disco

Disco disco is a sound reactive light sculpture that challenges the notion of the silent gallery experience.

A sculptural collaboration with creative entrepreneur Alex Asseily, Disco disco was inspired by a glitterball aesthetic; its acrylic fins act as light pipes channelling light into giant pixels that ripple and flicker in response to the slightest sound.

First exhibited at the ‘Play of brilliants’ international light show in Paris, this collectable has provoked audiences into whispering, singing and occasionally shouting in order to explore its relationship with the full range of audio frequencies whilst casting dancing light across the surrounding walls.
