Robert Nadler, CEO of Nadler Hotels, commissioned Haberdashery to create a bold sculptural statement to help define the location of their latest hotel on Palace Place opposite Buckingham Palace, The Nadler Victoria.

After carefully negotiating the planning issues in such a sensitive area, an art deco inspired stainless steel sculpture framing the main entrance was approved by Westminster City Council. The stepped structure uses bronze tinted mirrored steel, adorned with sand blasted deco motifs to create a micro and macro experience; the hotel is now defined as a landmark on the street, whilst the quality of close-up surface detail alludes to the quality of the experience on offer within the hotel. 'Bienvenue' was particularly inspired by French deco travel posters, which in turn helped to inspire the choice of name.
